Josh Baker specializes in industrial and single-tenant net lease investments, bringing more than 20 years of sales and advisory experience built on developing strong, long-term client relationships.
Prior to joining Equity Commercial Real Estate Solutions, Josh was part of a leading Midwest investment sales team at Marcus & Millichap, advising clients on the acquisition and disposition of industrial assets and investment properties. His transactional experience includes more than $25 million in closed commercial real estate deals, including single-tenant industrial assets, multi-tenant industrial properties, and sale-leaseback transactions.
Earlier in his career, Josh spent more than 20 years in national account sales roles within the food manufacturing and consumer packaged goods industries, working with global organizations including Unilever, one of the world’s largest CPG companies, and Stratas Foods, a joint venture of Archer Daniels Midland (ADM). In these roles, he partnered with senior leadership at major foodservice companies, managing strategic supply relationships across large-scale manufacturing and distribution networks. This experience provides him with a unique operational perspective when advising industrial owners, operators, and investors on mission-critical real estate.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, supporting his son’s athletic pursuits, staying active outdoors, and cooking. He believes integrity, discipline, and trust are the foundation of successful outcomes and enduring client partnerships.
