Daniel Heath

Advisor

Daniel Heath joins Equity as a Commercial Real Estate Advisor, bringing a strong technical foundation in site development and land planning to the brokerage team. Before transitioning into commercial real estate, Daniel worked as a Civil Site Designer at LKC Engineering, where he developed deep expertise in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, site layout, and construction documentation. His work there included interpreting zoning and Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) regulations, navigating municipal permitting processes, and coordinating stormwater and utility design across residential, commercial, and institutional projects. That hands-on experience evaluating site constraints, feasibility, and the path from concept through construction gives Daniel a practical, ground-level understanding of what makes a property viable, an advantage few advisors bring to the table. He is skilled at reading site plans, surveys, and construction documents to identify the opportunities and limitations that shape a deal, and he is accustomed to coordinating across engineers, surveyors, and permitting agencies to keep projects moving forward. Daniel holds an Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Technology and an Associate of Applied Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Sandhills Community College, where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA, earned the Ann L. Hinchcliff Endowed Scholarship, and was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. He also completed general education coursework at The Ohio State University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology at Eastern Kentucky University. Before entering civil design, Daniel spent several years in management and leadership roles across the hospitality and service industries, including high-volume operations and elite-level fine dining. Those roles sharpened his ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities under pressure, and build strong client relationships, skills he now applies to advising clients on property value, development potential, and market opportunity. Daniel is based in Powell, Ohio, and can be reached at Dheath@Equity.net or 614-403-7925.
