Josh Baker is a Senior Advisor specializing in industrial and single-tenant net lease investments, bringing more than 20 years of sales and advisory experience built on developing strong, long-term client relationships. His background combines institutional commercial real estate brokerage experience with deep national account leadership in the manufacturing sector.
Prior to joining Equity Commercial Real Estate Solutions, Josh was part of a leading Midwest investment sales team at Marcus & Millichap, where he focused on advising clients on the acquisition and disposition of industrial assets and investment properties. His transactional experience includes more than $25 million in closed commercial real estate deals, including single-tenant industrial assets, multi-tenant industrial properties, and sale-leaseback transactions.
Earlier in his career, Josh spent over 15 years in national account leadership roles within the food manufacturing industry, working for Stratas Foods, a subsidiary joint venture of Archer Daniels Midland (ADM). In this role, he partnered with senior leadership at some of the nation’s largest foodservice companies, managing strategic supply relationships across large-scale manufacturing and distribution networks. This experience gives him a unique perspective when advising industrial owners, operators, and investors on mission-critical real estate.
Josh brings this combination of operational insight and investment expertise to help clients navigate complex transactions and maximize long-term value in industrial real estate. Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes, supporting his son’s athletic pursuits, staying active outdoors, and cooking. He believes that integrity, discipline, and trust are the foundation of successful outcomes and enduring client partnerships.
